Oxford-based physical theatre and dance company Justice in Motion is looking for volunteers to get involved in our latest touring production ON EDGE that is visiting festivals around the UK this summer.
ON EDGE is an outdoor show that combines parkour, theatre and choreography to tell a breath-taking, awe-inspiring and gripping story about modern slavery in the UK.
Audiences are moved by their experience and help is needed to capture their responses.
We are looking for helpers for a variety of tasks at performances, including…
Handing out and collecting post-show feedback forms, mailing list request forms and information leaflets plus talking to audience members about modern slavery.
We require people in our office to key in collected data for evaluation purposes.
And we are looking for a friendly and cheerful truck driver to join the team on tour, who holds a clean driving licence for a 7.5t truck.
Performances this summer are:
13 & 14 July – Riverside Square, Bedford
20 & 21 July – Market Place, Banbury
17 & 18 August – Oxford Castle Courtyard, Oxford
30 August – 1 September – Freedom Festival, Hull
6 – 8 September – Lakes Alive, Kendal
14 & 15 September Out There Festival, Great Yarmouth
> Whether you are excited about parkour, are passionate about human rights, or love the performing arts – or perhaps you’d generally like to support us on the remaining dates of this tour with ON EDGE – we’d love to hear from you!
Anyone interested in this opportunity should contact firstname.lastname@example.org
